LAMB has been working in health and development in Northwest Bangladesh since the mid-1970s.
Our approach is to provide accessible, high quality services at a sustainable and appropriate level for this context.
LAMB has a national and international reputation as a model integrated health system, using validated means testing to target subsidies for the poor. Local communities, elected councils, and health officials collaborate in mutually responsible and accountable efforts to improve well-being of the most vulnerable, especially women, children, and the poorest.
We are a Mission, here to serve God by serving the poor, working toward physical, social, emotional, and spiritual health in fullness of life, or পরিপূর্ণ জীবন, for all.
