Job Openings

Opportunities for service at LAMB come in three categories

  • Bangladeshi Nationals:   Vacancies are normally advertised in national and or local newspapers.  All long term posts at LAMB are open to Bangladeshis with appropriate qualifications.
  • Short Term Expatriate Volunteers:   Anything from 6 weeks to a year, although shorter periods are possible for skilled short-term volunteers.  We receive and welcome people with a wide range of skills and expertise.  There are some training/ elective opportunities in the hospital.  Please look at the web page of Short Term opportunities for more information
  • Long-Term Expatriates:   Longer than one year.  In general expatriate staff are self-supporting – seconded from an overseas organization – and do not receive a salary from LAMB.  We receive and welcome people with a wide range of skills and expertise.  It is a requirement that long-term expatriates are Christian.  Please look at the web page of Long Term opportunities for more information.
  • Other High Priorities: Finance Director would manage the complex fund flows for this international NGO. / A Maintenance Advisor would manage and supervise construction of a large building project for the LAMB. Help with ongoing maintenance of buildings and support systems for utilities on LAMB’s large compound.

All expatriate vacancies are subject to visas, work permits and any other legislation implemented by the Government of Bangladesh.
