FINANCIAL HELP
LAMB tries very hard to be independent of outside donations. We cover about 85% of all our normal operating costs through the money we earn.
For the remainder of our operating costs, and the bigger expenses on maintenance and capital items (ranging from small hospital equipment purchase through to new buildings) we are having to rely on donations.
To continue normal operation in 2009 will need donations of US$ 250,000 - LAMB is a large organisation ! Extra will enable us to buy and replace equipment. LAMB�s Poor Fund enables poorer patients to apply for part or total subsidy for their bills.
Donations of all sizes � small or large � would be very much appreciated
Because it is not simple or cheap to transfer money directly to LAMB in Bangladesh, there are support organizations who collect money for LAMB and/or forward donations to LAMB.

World Mission Prayer League has very strong links with LAMB and will willingly forward donations to LAMB. 100% of the donation received by WMPL reaches LAMB. Tax relief is available on donations made to WMPL.Donations can be made electronically, including via Paypal. Please go to the WMPL website (business office) page.The donation should be identified as for LAMB Hospital. Paypal does make a charge to WMPL/ LAMB for this service. Note: When you first access the WMPL PayPal screen, it will simply show a designation of �General Fund.� When you fill in a donation amount and then click enter, the next screen allows you to make a �Special Designation (optional)� and it is here that LAMB, and any specific purpose in LAMB may be specified. Friends of LAMB
�Friends of LAMB� are a Minneapolis-based group focused on supporting LAMB. LAMB Health Care Foundation
LHCF is a UK based registered charity whose sole purpose to date has been to support LAMB. LHCF has provided strong support to LAMB in general and particularly to the Poor Fund (which subsidises or pays for the bills of the very poor to the extent of more than 50,000 per year). 100% of any donation reaches LAMB. Friends of LAMB in Australia
FOLIA is a recently formed group to support LAMB. FOLIA raises money to support LAMB as directed by the LAMB Board and its Executive Director. To date FOLIA has focused its financial support largely on LAMB school. 100% of any donation reaches LAMB.FOLIA is making arrangements to ensure tax deductible status of donations, to further maximize the benefits to LAMB.
